 in response to prerry007...   In my opinion you are right. California should not get a single dime from other states to bail out their mismanaged budget. They could raise huge amounts of revenue if the they managed the mary jane industry they have there. They should take some notes from Colorado, a state that leads the nation in raising revenues from pot. That being said, we are moving this discussion in even further away from what this site is designed for. I am going to stop responding to this thread. If somebody wants to continue this discussion, please locate a better forum, post your reply there, and put a link here. I would be happy to follow the link and continue the discussion there.

 in response to buddhaandt...   I totally agree and think you suggest a viable approach. Yes I need dental work and that is what led me here. I am not so naive as to believe that whining about my situation, and/or begging for charity on an obscure forum is going to get that work performed.Ninety percent of the posts here do just that. I might even try your suggestion, as I said it is viable, even if a long shot.

I will apologize for getting on a soapbox with the earlier reply.Honestly, it pissed me off to read somebody blaming the federal government because his state is too broke to give him free dental work. This entitlement attitude is why his state, and the country are going broke. People gotta understand that they are not owed free anything! Again, I thank you for your suggestion. It is creative and made this lame ass forum worth visiting!

 in response to buddhaandt...   Agreed, that is why, if you can read, it says"posted in response to", much the same as this reply does! It was simply a response to some clown in Ca showing his low intelligence. It was not an unsolicited rant randomly posted in a forum that most folks use to beg pathetically for free dental work that they will never receive!

The reason that CA is broke is simple.. ..because you create social programs to try and take care of everybody cradle to grave. The feds didn't tell you that you had to make"sanctuary cities" like San Francisco, and refuse to deport illegals. And you financed it all by raising the taxes on businesses and corporations until they were taxed at the highest rates anywhere, thus driving huge contributors like Hewlett Packard out of your state so they could remain profitable and competitive in places like Texas, where they lower business taxes to create economic growth. Just do ten minutes of research into how much wealth has left your state in the last decade. You tried to create a utopian pipedream,and it backfired. Now you have a broke cesspool filled with folks who want handouts, and nobody left to foot the bill for your failed social engineering. I hope that when you come begging for bailouts, that the fiscally responsible state refuse to give one red cent to CA. I would rather see those states band together and secceed from the union than to pay for the failed, progressive, social justice nightmare that CA wants to spread to the rest of the country! I will say it again. ....the feds did not tell you to create sanctuaries for illegals!
